CASPER, Wyo. – Metal band Halestorm is headlining a show that includes grunge legends Stone Temple Pilots this May at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.
According to a release issued on Tuesday, also included on the set are Black Stone Cherry, and Wolfgang Van Halen.
Halestorm has toured with acts such as ZZ Top, Evanescence and Rob Zombie, and have played festivals such as Taste of Chaos and the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. They won a Grammy in 2013 and won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award in 2016.
According to the release, Halestorm is the first ever female-fronted act to hit No. 1 on the Active Rock radio format in the U.S.
Stone Temple Pilots (STP) gained huge success in the early-90s with classic albums such as “Core” and “Purple.”
Black Stone Cherry is a four-piece Southern rock band that formed in Kentucky in 2001, and has released albums that have topped the Current Rock Albums and Current Hard Music charts.
Wolfgang Van Halen is the son of the late guitar legend Eddie Van Halen, and played bass in Van Halen before building his own solo career. He released the album “MAMMOTH [Explorer 1]” in 2021.
The show is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, 2022, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 4.
